Read the instructions carefully so that you understand the correct use of the remote and the Air conditioner Heat Pump.

Place the instructions in a safe place so that if you need to refer to them, you can find them easily.

Button Names and Functions

Timer ON/OFF Button (Timer)
To set the timer mode push the button (1). After each "press" the mode will be changed, as shown below.

Sleep Button (Sleep)
Pushing this button enables you to start the automatic operation while in sleep mode. Push it again and the automatic operation setting stops.

Operation Mode Button (Mode)
This allows you to select different operating modes. After each "push" the operating mode will be changed as shown below.

Comment: Cool (The setting for cold air) has no heating function.

Air flow direction adjustment button (Swing)
Pressing this button allows the horizontal airflow direction plate to swing through its full movement automatically. When the air is blowing in the desired direction, press the Swing button again. The Airflow direction plate will be stopped at that position.

Fan Speed Selection Button (Wind)
Pressing this button allows fan speed, and therefore also the airflow speed selection. You can select a fan speed of "Auto", "Power", "High" and "Low".

On/Off Button (On/Off)
This button turns the Air conditioner heat pump On and Off.

Setting Button (Setting )
Pressing this button increases the temperature up or the timer time.

DISPLAY

Mode Display
If you press the MODE button, the screen displays the current operational setting. You can select "Feel", "Cool", "Dry", "Fan" or "Heat" operational mode. (Cool has no heating display).

Send Display
When the remote control sends a correctly modulated signal to the main unit, the D light flashes intermittently for each send.

Fan Speed Display
Pressing the WIND button displays the fan speed setting. You can select from "Auto", "Power", "High" and "Low".

Temperature Display
This displays the current "desired temperature" setting. In circulation mode the temperature setting is not displayed.

Timer On/Off display
This displays the current timer state. (Either On or Off).

Note: not all words in the picture display can be seen at the same time.

Batteries and Remote control/Unit modes

Batteries
Neither the remote control unit, nor the main unit will operate without the remote control. The remote control requires charged batteries to operate.
To insert batteries:
Battery Installation
Slide open the cover in the direction as shown by the arrow head in the first diagram above.
Put in two (2) brand new batteries. Make sure the batteries are facing the correct direction as indicated by the electrical poles (+&-)
Put back on the cover as shown in the third diagram above.
NOTE: Make sure you plug the main unit in and turn it on BEFORE you use the remote control unit.

Automatic operation mode
1) Press the MODE button and select the Automatic operation mode.
2) Press the TEMP/TIME button and set the temperature. The Temperature can be set at 1蚓 differences from 16 to 32?C.
3) Press the WIND button and select from "Auto", "Power", "High" and "Low".
4) Press the ON/OFF button (the operation indicator then should be on) and the airconditioner Heat Pump will start to operate in automatic mode.
5) Press the button again and the Airconditioner stops.

Cooling/Heating operation mode
(Note: Cool has no heating function)
1) Press the MODE button and select the Heating or Cooling mode.
2) Press the TEMP/TIME button and set the temperature. The Temperature can be set at 1蚓 differences from 16 to 32?C.
3) Press the WIND button and select from "Auto", "Power", "High" and "Low".
4) Press the ON/OFF button (the operation indicator then should be on) and the airconditioner Heat Pump will start to operate in automatic mode.
6) Press the button again and the Airconditioner stops.

Air Drying (dehumidifying) mode
1) Press the MODE button and select the Drying operation mode.
2) Press the TEMP/TIME button and set the temperature. The Temperature can be set at 1蚓 differences from 16 to 32?C.
3) Press the ON/OFF button (the operation indicator then should be on) and the airconditioner Heat Pump will start to operate in automatic mode.
4) Press the button again and the Airconditioner stops.

Air Circulation Mode
1) Press the MODE button and select the Circulation operation mode.
2) Press the WIND button and select from "Power", "High" and "Low". In circulation mode you cannot select "Auto" as a setting.
3) Press the ON/OFF button (the operation indicator then should be on) and the airconditioner Heat Pump will start to operate in automatic mode.
4) Press the button again and the Airconditioner stops.
Note: In Circulation mode, setting the temperature does nothing.

Timer Setting

Timer On
1) Set the "TIMER ON". This is effective ONLY when the Airconditioner is shut off.
2) Press the TIMER button and set the Timer to ON. The remote control display shows "00 HOUR ON"; "ON" flashes intermittently.
3) Press the TEMP/TIME button and set the desired time. When "ON" stops flashing the "TIMER ON" can be set.

Timer Off
1) Set the "TIMER OFF". The "TIMER OFF" is only effective when the Airconditioner is running.
2) Press the TIMER button and select the "TIMER OFF" setting. The remote control display shows "00 HOUR OFF"; "OFF" flashes intermittently.
3) Press the TEMP/TIME button and set the desired time. When "OFF" stops flashing the "TIMER OFF" can be set. The remote control can set the time for up to 12 hours difference.

Sleep Operation Mode

1) Press the "SLEEP" button so the sleep indicator light of the indoor unit flashes on.
2) After setting the "SLEEP" mode, the cooling operation enables the set temperature to increase (one) 1蚓 after (one) 1 hour and another (one) 1蚓 automatically after another hour.
OR
3) After setting the "SLEEP" mode, the heating operation enables the set temperature to increase (two) 2蚓 after (one) 1 hour and another (three) 3蚓 automatically after another hour.
4) The Airconditioner runs in "SLEEP" mode for (seven) 7 hours and then stops automatically.
NOTE:
A) In "SLEEP" mode the fan speed changes automatically to "Low"
B) Pressing the "MODE" or "WIND" or "ON/OFF" button clears the sleeping mode settings.

Final Instructions

  • To activate the main unit or change modes aim the remote control towards the signal receiver on the inside unit
  • The remote control should be no more than 8 meters from the receiver
  • Make sure there are no obstacles between the remote control and the receiver. The signal will NOT work through walls
  • Do NOT drop or throw the remote control unit
  • Do NOT put the remote control unit under heat or direct/amplified sunlight or other heat sources
  • Use two 7# batteries. Do NOT use electric batteries
  • If you are not going to use the remote control unit/Air-conditioning unit for a long period of time, remove the batteries from the remote control unit
  • When you cannot hear the transmission signal beeper or the remote control symbols on the remote control display screen dim or go out the batteries need to be replaced
  • If the remote control unit buttons don't activate the correct response, the batteries may need replacing, or you have interference between the sender (remote control unit) and receiver (inside main head unit)
